Blue River Homes and Real Estate

Blue River Real Estate is popular for families looking for easy access to Breckenridge but prefer living outside of town. Blue River is just a few minutes south of Breckenridge, and remains a hidden gem in Summit County. Blue River homes are nestled within the White River National Forest and enjoy striking mountain views and easy access to hiking trails. Some of our favorite trails include Mohawk Lakes, McCullough Gulch, and Blue Lakes, and we've summitted Quandary, our closest 14er multiple times. Blue River is still a fairly private community with one restaurant/bar/lodge, Myla Rose and a town hall. We are your Blue River Real Estate experts and can help you buy or sell a mountain home in Blue River. Contact us today for more information about buying a mountain home in Blue River, CO.

Blue River Hiking

Blue River boasts some of the most beautiful hiking trails in Summit County including Quandary Peak, Mohawk Lake, McCullough Gulch Waterfall, and Blue Lakes. Locals Tip: Go in the afternoon - the trails are less crowded, but just plan for unpredictable weather. Don't forget to download the COTREX or ALLTRAILS app for your trip.

Goose Pasture Tarn

The Goose Pasture Tarn is private for Blue River Homeowners. It's a great place for boats, kayaks or stand up paddle boards. Blue River residents can purchase a boat permit to access the water.

Blue River Fishing

Prize trout fishing can be found on the Blue River, which flows from Breckenridge to the north. Mohawk Lake and Blue Lakes offers high altitude fishing as well.
