About JJ Bosgraaf, your Local Realtor
My passion for finance, strategy, and entrepreneurship are what make me a valuable asset as your Realtor. I moved to Breckenridge in 2005 with Shannon. We had been working overseas together in the Netherlands and London, England as Strategic Management Consultants when we started to dream about raising a family. What did we want our lives to look like? Would the bustling corporate life be conducive to playing outdoors and spending quality time with our kids? Were there better ways to build wealth than to just grind it out for corporate clients day in/day out?
We realized that we needed a new trajectory if we wanted these dreams to materialize. We decided to move to a mountain town in the US where we could start a business and pursue our financial goals of independent wealth. We immediately fell in love with Breckenridge. We loved the quaint community, outdoor playground, the great restaurants, and the quaint shops on Main Street.
We’ve been grateful to watch our dreams unfold, just as we hoped. We owned and sold a local Bed & Breakfast as well as a Property Management company. In the process, we continued our real estate investments and learned so much about real estate, that we decided to get our license and become Realtors® . We knew we had a wealth of experience to offer our clients.
I see life and opportunities in real numbers. I earned an MBA from the University of Holland, worked as a Business Analyst, IT Professional, and Management Consultant, and I can easily see how things should add up in the big picture. I care about investments that make the most sense for my clients. I have a high standard of professionalism, staying proactive and responsive with clients, and maintaining integrity and trust. I believe all problems are solvable and am persistent and creative in finding solutions for my clients. Both Shannon and I have a “whatever it takes” mentality when going after goals. We seek out the smartest way to bring transactions to a successful close.
When we are not working with clients, we spend a lot of time outdoors as a family. I enjoy soccer, skiing, boating, golfing, camping, and travel. I have coached our boys soccer teams for several years and continue to compete in soccer myself.
I’ve worked with a variety of clients from around the world. If you’d like to read more about their experience in working with me, check out my Client Stories Page to hear about their journey of buying and selling real estate in a mountain resort community.
